Wrestling
Wrestling has long been associated with the Olympics, having been a key part of the ancient games before becoming an event at the modern games in Athens in 1896. It took until 2004 for women to be allowed to compete too.

As far as wrestling medals go, Great Britain has only ever won three Olympic medals - the last one was a bronze won by Noel Loban back in 1984 in Los Angeles. Young wrestlers are hoping the situation will change in 2012 and they may finally win more medals.

Amongst the wrestlers keen to be on the Great British team is Jatinder Rakhra, who has been wrestling since the age of four. He notably won the title of Best UK Asian Athlete of the Year in 2006, British Junior Champion in the lightest division in 2008 and came 10th in the World Juniors at the Beijing Olympics.
